Synopsis:
Escaping a media storm after a devastating incident in Afghanistan, British fighter pilot Allie Shepard travels to the idyllic tourist havens of Croatia to reconnect with her sister.
There, Allie meets Michael Winter, an American journalist investigating the dark secrets of an international political hero. Unnerved by her encounter with Michael and desperate to forget her military failings, Allie ignores her gut instincts as Croatia celebrates an historical event.
When the festivities fade into the early hours, Michael finds Allie in the streets, covered in blood and with no memory of the night before.
In a race against time, Allie and Michael desperately unravel the mystery of the forgotten night and Allie’s sister’s disappearance.
As she and Michael spiral deeper into the underbelly left behind after a war the world has forgotten, Allie must accept who and what she is to find her sister before it's too late.
